Quidnessett Country Club

Gorgeous location, beautiful ballroom, beautiful greens, wonderful staff, delicious food. They were very accomadating, especially Heather & Ron. Our guests gave us endless compliments on everything. It was the perfect setting for our wedding! I would certainly recommend Quidnessett if you are looking for a beautiful venue! :o)

What else can I say? QCC was absolutely amazing, from planning to executing to accomodating last minute changes. The views of Narragansett Bay were breathtaking as well. The food was incredible. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Quidnessett was the perfect setting for our wedding. The view was amazing, and our guests loved being able to go out onto the patio during the reception. They were easy to work with, and answered all of our questions promptly. They were easy to work with and were very flexible.

I loved my reception at the Quidnessett. I worked with Heather during the planning process, and she was wonderful. They were so flexible with all my requests, and she patiently answered all my hundreds of questions. The food was delicious and the room looked beautiful. She worked to give us the wedding that we were looking for, even if we wanted something differently than was listed or offered. We chose the Bayview Room, and my wedding of 120 fit perfectly. My guests loved the food and the chocolate fountain was also great! They handled everything wonderfully. I can't rave about them enough. Definitely recommend!!

Our coordinator was Liane. She was who we met when we booked it (2 years in advance), who we worked with the whole time & who was our day of coordinator. She was on top of everything - no detail too small! She was seriously a dream to work with and I have nothing but amazing praise for her. As far as food goes, everything was absolutely delicious. People were telling us they were so full by the time the pasta came � always a good sign! They even made me a special �bride�s dish� that I LOVED. Everything was set up even better than I had imagined with all of my DIY masterpieces (haha)�I had made the centerpieces, menus, placecards, table numbers, guest book, card box, candy buffet & seeing it all come together so perfectly was such a relief!

They were wonderful.. they handled my 300 person wedding (and all of my crazy details!) with incredible ease!

We had such a beautiful wedding day and Quidnessett was just as wonderful! I would recommend this venue to any bride! The food was very tasty and everything was professionally done! My guest raved about how beautiful Quidnessett. Thank you for helping to make our weddind day even more special!

Quidnessett CC is a spectacular place to hold your reception. The food was delicious and was served promptly. The wedding planners made our day smooth and rememberable. Quidnessett holds true elegance and beauty at an affordable price.

The room was beautiful, the staff were amazing, the food was excellent and the wedding went off without a hitch. I am so glad that I made the choice to spend a little extra. The view from the room was amazing and the grounds were perfect for taking pictures. All of my guests raved about the place.

I can not say enough good things about QCC. My wedding was absolutely perfect. Planning with QCC was easy and the food and staff were excellent. I would highly recommend.

We got married on the deck of the Bayview room. What gorgeous views! The food was fantastic (Stuffed Chicken with spinach and roasted red pepppers). All of the staff were pleasurable to work with and answered any questions we had. I would recommend booking at least a year in advance (we wanted a saturday, and with only 9 months notice, had to do a morning wedding) They book up quickly for a reason!! Overall, Quidnessett Country club was a great value. Beautiful views, excellent food, accommodating workers. I would highly reccommend them.

I really enjoyed our reception and the experience I had at QCC. Lianne was our coordinator and she was wonderful to work with. The only few issues I had were that my "day of" coordinator was someone I met the night before and there was a mix up with open bar. We had prepaid a certain amount but I don't think the bartenders were properly informed since very few people were given free drinks. Everyone paid and then QCC reimbursed us the money. I thought that it made it look to our guests like we didn't think to even offer a drink. Overall, though, the setting is beautiful and the food was great.

Quidnessett is a wonderful place to have a function. they were very attentative and always responded to any questions we had in a timley manner. Food was excellent and i can't imagine having my wedding reception at any other place!

Quidnessett Country Club turned out to be the perfect place to hold our wedding reception. Working with the sales staff (especially Lorraine Kane)was great - they were extremely responsive and helpful in plannig our wedding (espeically since we were doing it from out of state). They really worked with us to accomodate our budget and requests, gave great suggestions for vendors and offered helpful advice when we asked for it. Our guests also had great comments about the the staff at the reception- how friendly and helpful everyone was. We also received a lot of feedback about how amazing the food was (espeically the appetizers!!). In addition, the grounds at Quidnessett are beautiful, so we are able to get some amazing pictures. And they have a big dance floor in the ballroom (which is always a plus :)

I am originally from New Jersey and my husband is from New England. While it is tradition to get married in the brides hometown/state, I decided to plan the wedding up in Rhode Island because my spouses family is very large (11 siblings and 43 nieces and nephews) and it was a bit much to ask all of them to make the journey south. It wasn't easy planning a wedding long distance. However, the staff at the country club was very helpful. Quidnessett Country Club is absolutely beautiful! I had an afternoon wedding there on a beautiful sunny day. My guests loved the food and retreating for some fresh air on the outdoor deck that overlooked the bay. The facitlities are lovely and my guests made great use of them. One of my guests even said to me, " I travel all over the world for business and eat out at great restaurants. The food here was just as great as all those great restaruants." I was pleased to hear that from him and many others. Coming from NJ it was important to me that my guests ate and drank well....and they did! The dance floor nicely accomodated the 200+ guests that we had. All had a great time. For anyone thinking about having a wedding here, I HIGHLY recommend it! The only kink we had was in food prices. There was a miscommunication in the beginning of our discussions in regard to the prices we would pay for the food. We found out that the menu was going to be revised and the prices most likely were going to increase. We originally thought we would be paying the 2008 prices since we booked the room in 2008 only to find out at the signing of the contract that we would be subject to the 2009 prices. We had a clause put into our contract that stated that we wouldn't have to spend more than $2 above the 2008 prices on the entree meals. To our pleasant surprise the club made the menu better and didn't increase the prices. This was a wonderful treat! Overall, working with Lorraine K.(banquet sales), Heather P. (the business manager) and Leanne (the wedding coordinator) was a wonderful experience for us. I greatly appreciate their professionalism and help! We had just over 200 guests...a wonderful cocktail hour, full open bar, and filet mignon and salmon for our entrees. Our wedding coordinator took care of everything and left my fiance and I to enjoy the festivities without anything to worry about. She was awesome!!! I also am grateful for Alex who was our personal waiter throughout the entire reception. The quality of service was superior and the price was quite reasonable. Thank you QCC!!

The Quidnessett was my daughters reception site. Heather and Loraine were wounderful to deal with. The only complaint/comment I have is; it was discussed with Loraine and heather that we wanted dinner served from 7 to 8 pm. At 8:15 dinner still was not served. When I asked JoAnn (our coordinator) what was taking so long. I was told the other room needed to be served first. I think that if your going to run two receptions at the same time you should have enough staff to cover both. We shoud not have had to wait. Were were paying a live band for 4 hours of dance music and we lost and hour on the lateness of the meal. if your going to use the Quidnessett be ready for your meal to take longer than expected.

QCC was a great place for our ceremony and reception, overlooking the Naragansett Bay. Everything up to the day was perfect, and Lorraine was a joy to work with! The day of also proved to be a great day! We were promised our own waitstaff to take care of any drink and food needs day of. We were never given any hors d'erves, and it was very difficult to find anyone to get my husband and I drinks. Other than that, I have no complaints about QCC
