Jen did amazing, beautiful work for my wedding and she was just such a pleasure to work with!! You will be in good hands with her because she is so good at what she does and will make you look your most beautiful. She really listens to what you want and makes sure you look exactly how you want to look. I had never tried airbrush makeup before and now I am hooked because it is really amazing! It looks great and really does stay put for hours, so I didn't have to worry about my makeup all day long on my wedding day. If you are considering airbrush makeup and have never tried it before, don't hesitate to call on Jen to give it a try because it is totally worth it!

Jen Hodge is amazing!! My makeup on my wedding day was fantastic and exceeded expectations! Jen was calm, professional and fun to be around. She was very patient during my two trials and the day-of makeup was perfect! My mom and sister also had their makeup done by Jen and they looked fabulous as well! I found Spectrum Makeup Artistry by Jennifer Hodge, through my wedding planner. I went and had a trial with her and fell in love with how glamorous she made me feel! All her make-up is airbrush just like celebrities ! It stays on for 18 hrs and let me tell you I tested that out with all the dancing we did! It didn't even smudge! On my wedding day, she made me look like such a princess and i would recommend her to any brides to be! She is the best! Love always Kristen...

Spectum Makeup Artistry did an amazing airbrush makeup application for me on my wedding day! The look was flawless and lasted all night. Jen Hodge of Spectrum Makeup Artistry did absolutely beautiful, natural- looking and long-lasting wedding makeup applications on me and my three attendants. This included airbrushed foundation and blusher that she custom blended to match skin tone along with flattering customized lip and eye makeup with optional false eyelashes individually applied. We all looked dewy and flawless for 12 hours from first look at 9 am throughout the day into the evening when festivities ended around 9 pm. Jen asks each client how they want to look and then collaborates with them to ensure that the result makes them look their best in person and in photographs. She is lovely, personable, flexible and diplomatic and is a consummate professional in every aspect of her services. She promptly arrived at my hotel suite at 6:30 am to ensure that she had ample time for personalized service to our complete satisfaction for 9 am first look and photos at various sites prior to the start of my 11:30 am wedding ceremony. I am a perfectionist and very competent in flattering and natural looking conventional makeup application. My fiancé expressed his desire that my wedding makeup not deviate greatly from the way I normally do it myself for special events. Jen took considerable time to observe my makeup style and to look at all of the makeup products that I use and ensured that the final result in my makeup trial and on my wedding day exceeded our expectations. Her charges, including a modest charge for traveling, are very reasonable compared to other air brush and conventional makeup artists. I highly recommend her as an outstanding makeup artist for brides, attendants, moms or any woman desiring beautiful, long lasting makeup for a special occasion.

Jennifer at Spectrum Makeup Artistry not only did a wonderful job with my wedding makeup, she did so under the most unusual of circumstances. A hurricane forced the rescheduling of my wedding, and Jennifer went out of her way to accommodate the sudden change of plans. Best of all, her airbrush makeup truly exceeded my expectations. My wedding day was hot, humid, rainy and windy, and somehow my makeup remained flawless. Also, as someone who generally wears very little makeup, I was thrilled at how natural it looked. I didn't look or feel "made up;" I just looked and felt like my very best self. I would definitely recommend Spectrum Makeup Artistry to other brides, and I will continue to be a client on special occasions.

I used Jenn Hodge on my wedding day and I cannot tell you how much I loved my makeup, it held up the whole day (even during a very humid day in August). I do not wear a lot of makeup day to day, but somehow she was able to create a look that was natural and stunning all at the same time. Jenn is flexible and fun to work with, not to mention she travels to you. I would recommend Jenn to any bride looking for long lasting, amazing makeup!

Jennifer did an amazing job! She was extremely professional and listened to my requests. The airbrush is amazing - my make-up lasted all day and into the night. It also looked really nice in photographs! You won't go wrong with Jennifer - she is the best in the area!

I want to give thanks to Jennifer Hodge from spectrum makeup artistry for doing such a fantastic job at my daughters wedding this past July 30th. We chose to do airbrush and were so happy that we did! We had the bride, 2 mothers, 10 bridesmaids and my sister that hopped in because she loved how we all looked! We were all so natural looking yet very elegant looking and were not worried at all about fading during the day. I actually woke up the next morning looking pretty good! I would highly recommend Jennifer for your needs for a wedding or any special occasion. The airbrush is fantastic compared to regular make-up and she is prompt, proffesional and caring. I can't say enough about the excellent makeup artistry Jennifer provided for my wedding. I will echo what the other brides on here said about the makeup lasting... mine went on at 11am and lasted until 2am... through an 80 degree day by the sea in Newport! Everyone that got their makeup done was so pleased with the results. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I booked Jennifer and I thought she was really reasonably priced. I will also say that Jennifer went above and beyond. The company I booked for hair was unfortunately unreliable and terrible to deal with (more on that in another review) and I called Jennifer 2 days before my wedding for her professional advice. She helped me work through the situation with my hair vendor and even offered to do hair for a few of us in case I they did not show. She was one of my favorite vendors - a true professional. Thank you Jennifer!

Jennifer is truly an artist! As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about airbrush makeup. After my trial, I wanted to go out and buy a machine for my house! It is the most amazing makeup I have ever worn. It was lightweight, sweat proof, water proof, and provided awesome coverage. Jennifer did such an amazing job with our makeup that day and I am still receiving compliments about how natural my makeup looked. She was able to get 9 women ready on the morning of the wedding and kept us laughing throughout the process.

Jennifer is fantastic! Based on my wedding planner’s recommendation, I called Jennifer with the hope that she was free on my wedding day, and I’m so happy that she was! After chatting about my venue, my dress, and how I envision my makeup on the Big Day, I could tell right away that she would be great to work with. And she was willing to come to my hotel room – an incredible perk! My makeup trial was a month before the wedding, and I had such a fun time getting to know Jennifer, and of course having my makeup done ☺ Regarding her technique, she uses airbrushing, which was new to me, and so cool. I felt like her canvas – a blank slate that emerged with an incredible glow that brought me to life. Coupled with the fabulous false eyelashes that made my eyes completely pop, the airbrushing made me feel beautiful. And it literally lasted all day long. Not once did I have to touch it up. And best of all, my makeup really shines in my pictures. She knew exactly how much to use without overdoing it – and I’m very grateful for that. Without a doubt I would recommend her. The service that Jennifer provides is truly unbelievable - airbrush makeup is without a doubt the most amazing makeup I have ever worn. I'm not a big makeup person, but I looked like myself but only better, and very bridal. It was exactly what I was hoping for (everyone commented on it!) and it stayed completely, 100% on from the moment it was put on at 11AM until I went to bed at 2AM. I couldn't even believe it (oh and I got fake eyelashes, which are unbelievable as well!). Jennifer also did my mom and entire wedding party, and they all loved the makeup as well. And these are girls who certainly wear more makeup but we all agreed that it was without a doubt the best makeup ever. The best part is that Jennifer is wonderful to work with - she listens to you, she's efficient, nice, and is someone that you would want to be with while you're prepping for your big day. My only piece of advice is to book her and FAST because I know that she's popular. And she's 100% worth it. Thank you Jennifer!!!

First of all, Jen herself is fantastic to work with. She is fun, professional, comforting and knowledgeable in her craft. Any questions and concerns were answered and addressed, mainly just me being a nervous bride who isn't a big makeup person! But she was great through all of it and made me feel extremely comfortable. I went with Jen's airbrush makeup service. I was a little nervous at first because honestly, who has airbrush makeup done on a regular basis? The trial went great and she easily dealt with any problems areas I thought should be paid special attention. I had a half strip of fake lashes and they stayed on all night, didn't bother my eyes a bit and came off very easy at the end of the evening. The rest of the makeup looked fantastic. Everyone commented on how great and natural I looked and nothing smudged, bled or rubbed off on me or anyone else. Through and outdoor ceremony/photos, dinner, dancing, hugging, kissing and more dancing, it didn't budge. It took a lot of makeup remover sheets to get it all off so this stuff is built to last through it all! My mother also had the airbrush services by Jen and she looked so gorgeous. Moms can tend to be self conscious with dry skin, eye circles, wrinkles, etc....but my mom looked and felt beautiful. I'd recommend trying out the airbrush services, especially by Jen. With a long, emotional day like your wedding day it's the best way to go to have beautiful, long lasting makeup.

Jen Hodge is amazing. We did airbrush on me and it was simply flawless. I had my makeup done around 10:30 in the morning and at midnight it looked like it had just been applied. I would highly recommend Spectrum to anyone and I plan on using her in the future. Thanks again Jen!!!

Jen Hodge is SO much fun to work with! I was really nervous about having my makeup done, as I don't usually wear a lot. But Jen and her airbrushing makeup is amazing! My mom loved it at the trial and the day of my husband thought it was perfect! She works well with my photographer, asking the photographer if it looks pale or heavy in the shots, which I thought was a great asset to use. She was a blast to have the morning of the wedding, she's so funny and versitile, and works around all kinds of environments (Whispering Pines Eisenhower Suite has some outlet and lighting issues, but Jenn and Lynda both work great together to solve problems). I cant wait to see my pictures! She made me look like me, only better.

I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer - she is not only talented, but sweet and wonderful! All of my girls looked gorgeous and I just knocked everyone's socks off! Airbrush is the way to go if you want to look like a million bucks on your wedding day! Worth it ladies!!! Jamie

All I have to say is that Jen was completely amazing! My make-up looked wonderful and it lasted the entire day (I had a 10 hour wedding reception). A bridesmaid in my wedding is engaged to be married and she also wants to book Spectrum Makeup Artistry after seeing how great mine turned out. Originally, there was only supposed to be three people getting their make-up done. But once the other girls saw how amazing our make-up looked, they all got it done. Jen was perfect squeezing everyone in, even though she did not plan on it. Also, my sister, who I love dearly, but who is the most difficult person to please in the whole world, loved her make-up too. And she hated her make-up when it was her own wedding. I had a great experience working with Jennifer and was so glad I chose her to do the make up for my wedding. Jennifer did airbrush make up for me, my mother, two sisters and two young nieces. We all loved our make up, and she applied the appropriate amount of make up to my nieces for their age. My make up did not smudge the entire day until I washed it off and I was outside in a lot on the beach on a misty rainy day and getting lots of hugs and kisses from people. Was thrilled with the colors she chose and it photographed very well. She is so laid back and friendly, I really enjoyed having her there the morning of the wedding while we got ready...we had a lot of fun with her. I would highly recommend her - could not have been happier with the communication leading up to the event, my trial and with the finished product!

Jennifer was amazing and I would highly recommend Spectrum Makeup Artistry. She did such a fantastic job on my makeup for my wedding. I was a little skeptical of the airbrush technique since I had never used it before, but she totally put me at ease during my trial and I had no worries going into my wedding day. She came to my hotel day of so it was all stressfree and did such an amazing job. So classic and glamorous. I loved it! And it stayed put doing my outdoor August wedding!
